Creating Digital Items from Print Newsletters

Filed Under: Creating & Curating Faith-Based Media Artifacts, Literacies, Navigating Hybrid & Digital Cultures, Presenting Authentically & Pastorally Online, Resources, Teaching Activities

Kyle Oliver

This in-class activity lets students try out a practical approach to a thorny church communications problem: How do you adapt print content for online publication in ways people will actually engage with?
Participants will find an interesting article or other item from a print newsletter and redesign it, in whole or in part, in ways appropriate to a social media platform of their choosing.
